Anastasius I was a Byzantine Emperor of Constantinople born at Dyrrhachium. He was also called Dicorus or Αναστάσιος ὁ Δίκορος, or Anastasius I Dicorus Epirota. In the picture above it says he died from lightning. Why is the lightning symbol in the Epirote coins? Romans called it fulmine.
