German poet refers to Scanderbeg as Prince of Molossian Epirus (Poeti gjerman e quan Skënderbeun Princ të Epirit Mollos)

 

German poet and cleric Jacob Balde lived in the 1600s.  His odes made him renowned.  He included a poem about Scanderbeg in his book Carmina Lyrica.

Poeti dhe kleriku Gjerman Jacob Balde jetoi në vitet 1600. Odete e tij e bënë të famshëm. Ai përfshiu një poemë për Skënderbeun në librin e tij Carmina Lyrica.

The poem mentions Scanderbeg as Prince of Epirus. 

The author writes: 

"Betray the ghosts, break the bonds

And the laws of fate: you are the first of all

The ruler of Molossian Epirus

And celebrate Macetus to the nation"

Macetus is another form of Macedones. So the poet is calling Scanderbeg a Macedonian. 

Poema  ne faqe 73 (shikoni foton siper) e përmend Skënderbeun si Princ të Epirit.

Autori shkruan:

"Tradhto fantazmat, thyej lidhjet

Dhe ligjet e fatit: ti je i pari nga të gjithë

Sundimtari i Epirit Molos

Dhe festo Macetusin/(Maqedonas) për kombin"  

Fjala Macetus eshte nje fjale qe to thote Maqedonas thote Seneca. Pra poeti e quan Skenderbeun Maqedonas.

Balde also mentions that George Castriot Scanderbeg fought wars in Achaia and Peloponese.

This is mentioned above in page 74 of the poem.

"This is Castriotus, famous in the Achaean wars: 

whose fierceness the enemy despised, 

but often felt his formidable and strong hand"

Autori Balde e permend  qe Skenderbeu luftoi ne Achaia dhe Peloponez ne faqen 74 me siper

Ai thote: 

"Ky është Kastrioti, i famshëm në luftërat Achaiane:

egërsinë e të cilit armiku e përçmoi,

por shpesh e ndjeu dorën e tij të frikshme dhe të fortë"
