Chams of Albania are Turks
Chameria-Tsamouria is the region of Epirus. No one tell you that its name comes from Arabic.
Chameria was another name for the daughter of Suleyman I.
Chameria the daughter of Suleyman I, was also called the moon-eyed (mihrumah or mihrimah), and was his favorite daughter.
To honor his daughter, Suleyman I, built a mosque in the Chrysopolis/Scutari area of Constantinople and gave the mosque her name.
The word Chameria and Mihrimah or “Mihrumah” are related to the Turko Arab worshiping of the Moon.
Suleyman I called his daughter “Mihrimah” and “Chameria”, because these terms are related to the Moon.
Qamar (Arabic)=Moon.
From QAMAR comes QAMARIYYAH (or Chameria)
Chameria married Rustem Pasha (Opukovic) an Ottoman grand Vizier born in Sarajevo.
Rustem Pasha served as governor of Lebanon on the years 1873-1883, before Wassa Pasha (Pashko Vasa).
Turks knew each other and they knew the Chams of Epirus.
Ibrahim Manzour a military adviser to Ali Pasha says that Chams were Sunnis.
From Manzour words:
“Cham tribe is composed of very zealous Muslims of the Sunni sect, and a Dervish would risk his life in Tchamari… They bore with the greatest impatience the yoke of Ali-Pacha, who was more careful with them than with the Toskas and the Liapes (leberit)…”
Manzour says:
“The Albanian language has no letters: the Muslims write in Turkish, and the Christians in Greek…Muslims of the Cham tribe, where many people embrace the career of ulemas (ecclesiastical and judicial). Among the Liapes, there is not a single individual who knows how to read and write”
Cham ulemas wore Turbans says Manzour
That is how Ulemas looked like
Manzour says:
“It is rare to see an Albanian with a beard; the only ulemas of the Gegues and the Chams, and those who have made the pilgrimage to Mecca, do not shave the chin; but the mustache is of general and indispensable use, as in all the East”
So it is clear from the author that Chams went to Mecca
According to Manzour: “Albanians believed themselves to be the descendants of the Arab tribes, called Arnaboude, expelled from Arabia at the time of the civil war…”
