Sarandoporos/Ο ΠΟΤΑΜΟΣ ΤΩΝ ΝΕΚΡΩΝ - Sarandaporo/Vromonero Lumi i te Vdekurve

 

Vromonero is deep gorge in Epirus with water gathering from Sarandaporo river. Sarandaporo in Greek means Forty Fords (a river or a stream).  Albanians changed the name of Vromoneri Gorge to Kuqesh in order to hide the Greek history and Mythology behind it.

Vromonero means dirty water and has no meaning at all in Albanian. 

Sarandaporo river was also called Vourgaris but this ancient name was Τιταρών or Latin Titaressos.  In Greek mythology, the Titaressos river in Thessaly was a branch of the Styx (river of the underworld), the underworld's main river. The Titaressos river began at the western slopes of Mount Olympus and flowed into the Peneios river. 

Vromonero është një grykë e thellë në Epir me ujërat që grumbullohen nga lumi Sarandaporo. Sarandaporo në greqisht do të thotë Dyzet Perren.  Shqiptarët ndryshuan emrin e Grykës së Vromonerit në Kuqesh për të fshehur pas saj historinë dhe mitologjinë Greke.

Vromonero do të thotë ujë i pistë dhe nuk ka fare kuptim në shqip. 

Lumi Sarandaporo quhej gjithashtu Vourgaris por emri i lashtë ishte Τιταρών ose Latinisht Titaressos. Në mitologjinë Greke, lumi Titaressos në Thesali ishte një degë e Styx (lumi i ferrit), lumi kryesor i botës së vdekjes. Lumi Titaressos fillonte në shpatet perëndimore të malit Olimp dhe derdhej në lumin Peneios.

French Historian Leon Heuzey says that : "There was therefore in the vicinity of the Dodona of the Perrhebus, as in Threspotia near the Dodona of Epirus, as among the Arcadian Pelasgians, a region of the Underworld, a sanctuary of Death in relation to that of Zeus. Some famous legends even seem to relate directly to this Hell of Perrhebia: that of the Pierian Orpheus going to ask for Eurydice again, that of the Lapith Pirithous attacking the subterranean Zeus, like his father Ixion the celestial Zeus. If we knew the first Aeolian traditions in more detail, we would doubtless find curious traces of the ancient influence of the sanctuaries of Perrhebia...

He also calls the Sarantaporo the "quarante gues" the forty fords"

What about the thermal gorge at Sarandaporo? Well that is not Albanian. That was  part of Greece. 

In the American book called Thermal Springs of the world Vromoneri thermal spring belongs to Greece.  

Po gryka termale në Sarandaporo/Vromonero? Epo kjo nuk është shqiptare. Eshte pjesë e Greqisë. Në librin amerikan të quajtur burimet termale të botës burimi termal Vromoneri i përket Greqisë.

Vromoneri was part of Greece not Albania. The history of Vromoneri, Sarantaporos/Titaresios is ancient from the times of Homer and Zeus. Albania is only 100 years old. 

Vromoneri ishte pjesë e Greqisë dhe jo e Shqipërisë. Historia e Vromonerit, Sarantaporos/Titaresios është e lashtë që nga koha e Homerit dhe Zeusit. Shqipëria është vetëm 100 vjet e vjeter.
