Ancient Macedonians and Epirotes Worshiped Aphrodite

Ancient Macedonians and Epirotes in ancient times were pagans and they worshiped the Star Venus.

Velikovsky, in his book Worlds in Collision proposed the idea that Venus and then Mars, sometime in the years 1500-686 B.C disturbed the Earth’s axis to produce a world-wide destruction.

Velikovski, mentions that the great conjunction and Venus slipping from its axis, brought a planetary catastrophe worldwide.

The worship of the planets came from the fear and the destruction that came from clashing of the planets.

Greek Macedonians worshiped Star Venus (a comet) and gave it many names:

Aphrodite Anadyomene, Aphrodite Epitragia,Aphrodite Euploia, Venus Anadyomene, Venus Victrix, Venus Callipygis Venus Felix , Venus Genetrix  and many more. Venus was called the Blazing Star or the Morning Star, shining brightly in the sky.

Many other cultures have written about Venus and portrayed Venus in their artifacts. The Star Venus is the most worshiped star in the occult.

"The Morning Star of the Phoenicians and Syrians was Ashteroth-Karnaim, Astarte of the Horns"- says Velikovsky in his book Worlds in Collision
