XAIPE - A word found in Greek Funerary Steles- Fjalë e gjetur në Stelat Funerare Greke

Albanians hate and envy the Greek culture, and they love to distort the meanings of the Greek artifacts in Epirus. 

One of the most distorted words is XAIPE. Xaipe (Coptic ⲭⲉⲣⲉ) -  is an Ancient Greek salutation that means "Rejoice" but also means "Farewell". It is found in funerary steels.  The word is used in the works of Homer, Sophocleus, Aristophanes,  Euripides, Plato and Plutarch. 

This funerary stele is found at Dyrrhachion. At that time Epirus was part of the Ancient Greek Macedonia.

Similar steles and messages are found at Cyprus tombs. In these tombs, you can see  the Coptic form of χαῖρε- XEPE used by Egyptians who wrote in Coptic as well. (Stele dhe mesazhe të ngjashme gjenden në varret e Qipros. Në këto varre, mund të shihni formën kopte të χαῖρε- XEPE të përdorur nga Egjiptianët që shkruanin edhe në  gjuhen kopte)

The Greek word χαῖρε was used by ancient Greek writers and Philosophers such as Socrates, Homer, Plato, Euripides and others.  (Fjala Greke χαῖρε është përdorur nga shkrimtarët dhe filosofët e lashtë Grekë si Sokrati, Homeri, Platoni, Euripidi e të tjerë) 

Albanians falsely claim that the word XAIPE comes from "HAJER",  a Turkish word that they know. They fabricate the messages in Greek artifacts with nonsensical absurd meanings and translations, in order to irritate the Epirote community and Greeks in general. "Hajer" in Turkish comes from Hayr/Khair (Turkish) which means good, prosperity, and charity. Albanians have many loan words from Turkish.  Good and prosperity makes no sense in funerary steles. So your claims are illogical and ridiculous.
